Terms and conditions
Eligibility and entry
The promoter is Madame Distributor LTD, trading as Island Gin, of 64 Gray Road, Great Barrier Island 0991.
Open to New Zealand residents aged 18+. Employees, organisers and their immediate families are excluded. The winner’s guest must also be 18+.
Purchase any bottled Island Gin product, including bottled cocktails, at islandgin.com from 9 October until 11:59pm NZDT on 31 October 2026. Payment must be completed during this period. No separate entry form or additional entry fee is required.
Entries belong to the purchaser, including when buying gifts. Purchases elsewhere, accessories, pourers, gift cards, delivery charges and complimentary bottles do not earn entries.
Entry allocation
1 bottle = 1 entry
2 bottles = 4 entries
3 bottles = 8 entries
4 bottles = 12 entries
5 bottles = 16 entries
6 or more bottles = 24 entries
You can mix and match qualifying bottles in the same order. Entries are calculated separately for each order, with a maximum of 24 entries per order.
Separate orders are not combined for bonuses, but all entries earned are included in the draw. Collections count by the number of qualifying bottles.
Every valid entry has an equal chance of selection. Cancelled, unpaid, fraudulent or fully refunded orders are excluded. Partial refunds result in recalculated entries. Consumer rights are unaffected.
The prize

Alcohol is not included. The prize cannot be sold or exchanged for cash.
Travel and booking
Travel must be completed between 1 November 2026 and 1 November 2027. Travel from 19 December 2026 to 31 January 2027 inclusive is excluded unless agreed otherwise with Island Gin in writing.
All bookings are subject to availability. Island Gin will work with the winner to agree suitable dates. Bookings must be confirmed, with both guests travelling together.
Travel to Auckland Airport, travel insurance, additional meals and personal expenses are not included. Extra nights and car hire may be arranged at the winner’s expense, subject to availability and approval of quoted costs.
Car hire
Car hire is provided by Claris Rental Cars for the included island stay.
The winner must pay for rental insurance and fuel and return the vehicle with a full tank. Any applicable bond, insurance excess, fines and additional rental charges are the winner’s responsibility.
The nominated driver must meet Claris Rental Cars’ eligibility requirements and accept its rental agreement. The rental agreement and insurance details will be provided when the vehicle is collected.
Unused experiences and disruption
Unused dining credit at The Currach and experiences missed for personal reasons cannot be exchanged for cash.
Stargazing depends on suitable weather, as determined by Good Heavens. If cancelled because of weather, Island Gin will try to rearrange it during the stay. If this is not possible, no cash alternative or replacement is provided, except where required by law.
Draw and notification
One winner will be drawn randomly from all valid entries on 1 November 2026. Each allocated entry will be represented in the draw.
Island Gin will first attempt contact by telephone within seven days and also send an email. The provisional winner has seven days from the first attempt to respond and accept. At least three reasonable contact attempts will be made during that period.
If the winner does not respond, declines or is ineligible, another winner will be drawn using the same process. Proof of eligibility may be required.
Privacy and general conditions
The confirmed winner’s first name, surname initial and town or region will be published on islandgin.com.
Personal information is used to administer the competition and arrange the prize, with relevant details shared with suppliers where necessary. Additional publicity requires separate consent.
By entering, participants accept these terms. The promotion’s closing date, entry allocation and prize commitments will not change after opening, except where legally required.
Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. New Zealand law applies. This promotion is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by Facebook or Instagram.
