Tangelo Blossom Gin Sour

  • 60 ml Island gin Tangelo Blossom
  • 30 ml fresh lemon or lime  juice (or even half half)
  • 30ml simple syrup *
  • optional egg white for foam 


Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker.

Dry Shake. ( without ice cube for 15 -20 seconds)

Add one large ice cube and shake again until chilled.

Strain into chilled Coupe glass.

*to make simple syrup - equal amounts of water and sugar by weight. Place into a Bullet or blender until dissolved about 30 secs - put in fridge until required.    It will clear. (No need to dissolve on stove top)

** to make a wine syrup. Use Sav Blanc wine ( if you have any left over !! and combine in the same method as above - equal amounts of wine and sugar (instead of water). This is pretty knock out amazing instead of a regular syrup.
